When shopping for the ideal retirement community that serves your specific interests and needs, there are several factors to consider,
One of the most important things to consider, would be the climate. If you enjoy the winter snows, you would not want to be in the south. Snow is very rare there. Do you prefer the mountain views or would you rather breath in the salty air of the ocean?
If you enjoy the quiet of the country life, you may want to avoid urban communities even though the convenience of being located downtown of a large city gives you many options for dining and entertainment.

Visiting the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina is a must for any Christian who wants to see first hand how to live a life devoted to being the hands and feet of Jesus.
Billy and Ruth's entire family have been devoted to leading others to a relationship with Jesus Christ.
The setting that the Grahams chose for the library is as comforting and serene as the lives they have lived in witness to our Savior.
The library itself is a replica of a barn set in a large landscape of beauty. They moved the original home that Billy grew up in onto this property, and it has much of the furniture in it that was in the home when Billy was a child.
Ruth's grave is there in an area surrounded by woods. Her grave marker makes a statement of her life. She saw the sign many years ago at a construction site in Montreat and told Billy that was what she wanted on her grave marker. It reads "Construction complete. Thank you for your patience." How fitting for such a humble lady that spent her life teaching others the importance of love and acceptance.
There are hundreds of cards and letters in the library that shed light on the many lives all over the world that were changed by the Grahams efforts to reach the lost and give them hope of eternal life in Jesus.
The staff at the library show short film clippings of many of Billy's sermons all over the world.
The library even has a restaurant area set up in a barn type atmosphere where you can enjoy lunch and dine on some of Ruth's favorite recipes, including her famous pound cake.
